Japanese company Genepax presents its eco-friendly car that runs on nothing but water.
The car has an energy generator that extracts hydrogen from water that is poured into the car’s tank. The generator then releases electrons that produce electric power to run the car. Genepax, the company that invented the technology, aims to collaborate with Japanese manufacturers to mass produce it.

Congratulation to Japanese company Genepax.
I hope their water-fueled car technology enjoys much success with the various international Japanese automobile manufacturers.
There are other water-fueled technologies that are making news from various places around the world. I believe it is only a matter of time before we begin to make the transition to a new energy paradigm based on water technologies.

As far as I know, this story came out in 2008 and then fizzled. One writer speculates that metal hydrides are the actual fuel and when you add water, hydrogen is released, which is a powerful fuel source (but only in certain chemical configurations).
